What is an AI background remover?
Our tool uses advanced Artificial Intelligence to automatically detect the main subject of your photo and remove the background seamlessly. It runs entirely inside your browser using WebAssembly, ensuring maximum privacy since your photos never leave your device.
How to make a background transparent
- Upload your image using the drag-and-drop zone.
- Wait a few seconds while the AI model downloads (first time only) and processes your image locally.
- The background is removed automatically. By default, it's transparent. Click Download to save as a PNG.
JPG vs PNG for transparent backgrounds
If you want a transparent background, you must download the result as a PNG file. The JPG format does not support transparency and will automatically add a white or solid background if used.
